Here I am, waiting for the lines you wrote me
because I’m not afraid, not afraid of you. I don’t need you anymore.
I can live my life the way that I want it. The sun is gone, nowhere to run. Nowhere to lay my head down. Where can I start again? It’s hard to convince yourself that it’s okay living alone devoid of reasons…
I am standing on the line, keeping a clear mind.
I don’t want to see tomorrow as I see today.
Now I stare to the ground, I can’t believe I might be wrong. It’s always the same, when we stay true we’re the liar... Waiting here for too long , I know what it’s like to be alone. My bottle doesn't feel the shame like I do. One foot on the edge, one foot over emptyness. What is left? Where do you go now? I won’t turn my back. I faced the lies the cries, the tears in my eyes but I’m still here and I’ll stay here!
So here I am, waiting for the lines you wrote me
because I’m not afraid, not afraid of you. I don’t need you anymore. I can live my life the way that I want it.
